Starting my journey in programming has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In this post, I want to share some of the key lessons I’ve learned along the way.

The Beginning

Like many developers, I started with simple “Hello World” programs. The excitement of seeing text appear on screen after writing just a few lines of code was incredible.

Key Lessons Learned

  1. Consistency beats intensity - Coding a little every day is better than marathon sessions
  2. Build projects - Theory is important, but building real projects teaches you the most
  3. Don’t be afraid to ask for help - The programming community is generally very supportive
  4. Read other people’s code - You learn different approaches and best practices
